At Crufts under breed specialist judge Mrs J Bates, Maestro was placed
3rd in Open Dog from an entry of 17Critique - "3rd Smith's Ch Evergraces Magic Maestro At Lilongwe (Imp Swe) - A little taller than 1st and 2nd but a nice all round quality male. A light wheaten with a balanced head good neck and well balanced body soundly put together. Standing on tight feet moved with reach and drive." |

placed 1st in Open Dog, then went on to win Best Dog and Reserve Best in
Show!Critique - "1 Smith’s Ch. Evergraces Magic Maestro at Lilongwe (Imp Swe). This worthy champion is so soundly made all through. Standing he presents such a balanced outline. Teeming with quality and substance. His beautifully balanced head and kind expression do not detract from the fact that he is all male and when moving he does so with accuracy and drive. Best Dog" As

At Southern Counties Championship Show under breed specialist judge Ms G
Lawless, Maestro was placed 2nd in Open Dog. Critique - 2 Smiths Ch Evergraces Majic Maestro at Lilongwe. Another nice wheaten with an excellent head shape, kind dark eye, well boned through. Decent length of neck onto well laid shoulder, deep chest and level topline, strong well angulated rear quarters, moved with a steady easy stride. |

breed specialist judge Mrs S Simper Maestro was placed 2nd in Open Dog. Critique - 2 Smith’s Ch Evergraces Magic Maestro at Lilongwe, tall, light wheaten, very well balanced outline, lovely head of excellent proportions excelling in round, dark eye giving true Ridgeback expression, lovely length of neck, well laid back shoulders, well boned, straight front, good feet, deep rib, level topline, strong through the loin, very shapely hindquarters, excellent bend of stifle, clean through the front coming to me, lengthy profile movement. Very similar to 1 in overall shape & balance, just lost on going away. |
